No. There’s nothing you need to buy to get your Family Plan, and no obligation. Pre-planning only comes up if you want it to. Take your plan home, and that’s a completely normal way to leave.
No. My Legacy, the government’s planning website, is where you’ll find the official side: guides, and links to make an LPA, an advance care plan or a CPF nomination. My part is the family side: helping your family talk about your wishes, decide your funeral arrangements together and write them down in your Family Plan. I’m not connected with My Legacy.

The origin story
Let me tell you why Family Leadership had to exist.

In 2023, I was working in the Accident & Emergency Department at Changi General Hospital.
One afternoon, a sound in the aisle stopped me cold. A family stood around a stretcher, calling out “Dad” one last time.
One of them was lying across his body, crying so hard I could feel it through the walls.
I just stood there, helpless. That was when I understood that some kinds of pain cannot be fixed with medicine.
It brought back something from my own family.
When I was younger, I watched relatives argue over funeral arrangements while they were still grieving.
They were not bad people. They loved each other.
But because no one had ever talked about any of it, every hard decision landed on them at the worst possible moment.
Two different situations, the same pain.
Over time I saw it again and again. The problem was almost never a lack of love. It was unfinished responsibility.
And the hardest part was never the death itself. It was the weight families carried because no one had sorted things out earlier.
I came to call this the False Promise of Time.
I could not stop people from leaving this world. But I could help families prepare before that day came.
That is when Family Leadership was born, from one simple belief: every family deserves someone willing to protect the people they love before life forces those decisions on them.
Why good families still get caught
But time never completes a responsibility. Only people do.
The true cost of waiting
Responsibilities never disappear. They are either completed or inherited.
When we put off the hard conversations, it feels like we’re keeping the peace. But in reality, all we’re doing is handing the hardest decisions to the people we love, right when they’re grieving.
Here is what inaction truly costs a family:

Singapore citizens has a Lasting Power of Attorney. Of those with none and no plan to make one, over half wrongly believe their children could decide for them.
Of families who arranged a funeral when it was needed, only 28% felt they had enough time to weigh their options. Of those who had planned ahead, 55% did.

Without a CPF nomination, CPF savings go through the Public Trustee, which can take up to six months and charges a fee. A written plan shows your family what’s in place and what still needs doing.

In a hospital study of people aged 80 and over, those who planned ahead had their end-of-life wishes known and followed 86% of the time, against 30% for those who didn’t. Their families also had less stress, anxiety and depression afterwards.

So who does this fall to?

When you’re ready, we meet in person to build your Family Plan together. Bring a laptop or tablet you’re comfortable with. A bigger screen is easier. And here is the promise that shapes everything: we work on your device, not mine.
Whatever you write stays with you. I keep no copy.

If anyone else in your family would like one too, each person makes their own, and your family still counts as one. We’ll go through yours together first.
Then they can take a blank plan home and fill it in at their own pace, or we can meet again to go through theirs together.
No, and I’ll never pretend to be. What I do is help you have the conversation, and guide you through the memorial planning with Nirvana’s team when you’re ready.
I’ve done my own will, LPA and CPF planning through external professionals and found them good, so I’m happy to share more and point you their way.
Download them before 4 January 2027. From that day, My Legacy stops keeping the funeral plans, will records and personal details people have typed in, and deletes what’s there for good, so neither you nor anyone you shared it with can get it back.

No. Funeral pre-planning is just one practical part of it. Family Leadership is about having important conversations and making the thoughtful decisions early, so life never forces them onto the people you love.
Many people believe that. But in reality, families often discover that everyone remembers different conversations differently.
When important wishes are left unspoken or undocumented, uncertainty can unintentionally create stress, disagreement, or guilt during an already emotional time. Family Leadership encourages clarity so your loved ones never have to guess.
You’re not alone. Many families avoid these conversations because they feel uncomfortable, not because they don’t care.
Family Leadership helps create a safe and respectful way to approach these discussions, focusing on love, protection, and peace rather than fear.
Early is the easiest time. Nothing is urgent, so you can talk it through calmly and on your own terms. Once it’s written down, your family has clear answers whenever they need them.

A sketch takes me a few days, so I show it to you when we meet again, if you’d like one. It’s a sketch to help your family agree, not a promise of what any provider will supply.
If you make your arrangements through me, I’ll send you a private link where you can look around it in 3D, for 12 months. To draw it, I keep that wish and the sketch, with your OK.
